ISO 14064-1 Carbon Footprint Verification
Policies aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions have established, in addition to certain mandatory reductions, measures through which organizations can voluntarily control their greenhouse gas emissions. The ISO 14064-1 standard is one of these. It focuses on the management, calculation and reporting of greenhouse gases arising from organizations' activities.
CTR verifies the emission inventory planning, management and reporting methodology prepared within the scope of the ISO 14064-1 standard, as well as data relating to a specific period (generally a calendar year), according to the criteria specified in the ISO 14064-3 standard.
The process includes the analysis of the greenhouse gas inventory prepared by the organization for a specific period and the assessment carried out at the organization's facilities. The process is then completed with the delivery of a report and a verification statement.
