Verification under National Legislation

Installations falling within the scope of the Regulation on Monitoring of Greenhouse Gas Emissions, published in the Official Gazette dated 17 May 2014 and numbered 29003, are obliged to monitor and report the greenhouse gas emissions arising from their activities and to have these reports verified.

This process is carried out within the framework of the Communiqué on Monitoring and Reporting of Greenhouse Gas Emissions.

The verification stage is carried out by Verification Bodies accredited by TÜRKAK (Turkish Accreditation Agency) within the scope of the Communiqué on Verification of Greenhouse Gas Emission Reports and Accreditation of Verification Bodies.

CTR, as a Verification Body, was accredited by TÜRKAK on 27 August 2024 in the following fields of activity:

• 1a - Combustion of Fuels in Installations: For Category A and Category B installations where only commercial standard fuels and natural gas are used.
• 1b - Combustion of Fuels in Installations: Without any restriction regarding fuel type.
• 6.4 - Production of Ceramic Products by Firing.
• 6.5 - Production of Mineral Wool Insulation Material.
• 6.6 - Drying or Calcination of Gypsum and Production of Plaster Boards and Other Gypsum Products.
• 7.2 - Production of Paper, Paperboard or Cardboard.
• 6.1 - Clinker Production
• 6.3 - Production of Glass Including Glass Fibre
• 4.2 - Secondary Aluminium Production
